Chelsea Clinton-Exactly Right About Trump?
Chelsea Clinton is being wrongly attacked on social media for speaking the truth. In an in-depth interview with The Guardian, the former first daughter said of Trump's planned visit to the United Kingdom, scheduled for July: "If I lived in Britain I would show up to protest, because I don't agree with what he's doing to degrade what it means to be an American." Then came Fox News -- and even media outlets not on the right -- taking her quote out of context, with headlines blaring: "Chelsea Clinton says Trump 'degrades what it means to be an American.'" CNN

Senator Flake: Trump's 'Spygate' Is A Diversion Tactic
Republican U.S. Senator Jeff Flake, who has not ruled out running against Donald Trump for the White House, on Sunday criticized as a “diversion tactic” the president’s unsubstantiated allegation last week of an FBI “spy” being planted in his election campaign. Flake’s comments, on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” put him again at the forefront of very few Republican lawmakers willing to openly challenge Trump over his attacks on law enforcement officials who are investigating Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. election and possible collusion by the Trump campaign. Since the arrests of two black men at a Philadelphia Starbucks in April, several more instances have been documented of mostly white people calling the police on people of color for various reasons, none involving breaking the law — like sleeping in a dorm's common room, shopping, leaving an Airbnb or golfing too slowly. Starbucks is responding to the incident at its store by closing all of the chain's more than 8,000 locations around the country for some of the day on May 29 for racial bias training. NPR

Harvey Weinstein's Accusers Will Face Him On Stand, Just Like Cosby
Manhattan prosecutors are ripping a page out of the Cosby-trial playbook in their case against Harvey Weinstein — by attempting to call as many of his accusers as possible to the stand, law-enforcement sources told The Post. “They want to do it like Cosby, have as many people testify just to paint the picture,” a source said. Bill Cosby, who was found guilty of sexual assault in April, was initially spared conviction by a hung jury at his first trial, where only one accuser, the woman pressing charges, was allowed to testify. But a judge changed the rules at the retrial, and five more women testified against the 80-year-old comedian, helping seal his conviction. NY Post

Trump's His Own Good Cop/Bad Cop—And That's Good
One of the many constant criticisms of Donald Trump is that he has no “official” foreign policy, no codified theory explaining his endless ad hoc global initiatives.  That is correct as far it goes.  But is it a bad thing?  Official foreign policies have value if you’re a graduate student in international relations or are earning a stipend at a think tank, but for presidents not so much. They have to read a constantly changing landscape and be nimble, unhampered by rigid concepts or yesterday's ideologies. PJ Media

Newt Gingrich: Why The Mueller Probe Is Really Five Scandals, Not One
'The scandal is so big, so complex, and involves so many people with power that codifying it really required me to draw from my experience writing novels. There are so many egos and there is so much manipulative behavior, dishonesty (and dishonesty about the dishonesty) that it is very difficult to explain it as a straightforward history. It could be more easily explained as a narrative of ambition, illegality and criminal plotting.' Fox News
