Two shootings that killed 22 people at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas, on Saturday, and nine people in Dayton, Ohio, in the early hours of Sunday morning brought immediate reactions from the crowded field of Democratic presidential candidates on the campaign trail.

Add El Paso Shooting as an interest to stay up to date on the latest El Paso Shooting news, video, and analysis from ABC News. Calls for a period of reflection before discussing politics, a familiar refrain for years in the wake of mass shootings, ceded to calls for increased gun control before all of the details of the attacks were known. The situation will get worse.  Every time there is a shooting of any kind - anti gun nuts play the same game.  Nothing changes.
