Officials in College Park, Md., are considering a measure to let illegal immigrants vote for mayor and city council, the Baltimore Sun reported on Sunday. They will not, however, be allowed to vote for governor, congressman, senator, or president.  College Park, Md., is home to the University of Maryland College Park campus. "These are folks who have a significant stake in our community, and who rely on the facilities in our city,” College Park City Councilwoman Christine Nagle, who is sponsoring the measure, was quoted as saying. “To me, it just made sense.”

College Park joins a number of cities in Montgomery County and Prince George’s County, Md. – 10 in total - that allow illegals to vote in local elections.  Barnesville, a town in Montgomery County, has allowed illegals to vote in local elections since 1918. Takoma Park and Hyattsville are also among the cities in Maryland that allow illegals to vote.  Takoma Park, a city in Montgomery County, approved its referendum allowing the practice in 1991 by a narrow margin.

Total un-American towns with insanity.  Illegals who come are violators of the law and they should not be given any consideration  or free ride.
